New AWOS Installed at Mexican Airports

Business aviation operators using four Mexican airports–Cancun International, Cozumel International, General Ignacio P. Garcia Airport (Hermosillo) and Mexico City International–will find new Vaisala automated weather observation systems (AWOS) in service. The six systems (two at Mexico City and two at Cancun) replace older, existing systems and report current altimeter setting, temperature, dew point and wind speed and direction.
