EPG Insurance introduced a out-of-warranty maintenance plan that the company said covers almost all unscheduled repairs on small business jets and turboprops. The coverage plan, called Av-Guard, is restricted to aircraft that sell for $3 million or less. It is effective for 12 months or 500 hours of operation, whichever occurs first.

The policies are available for aircraft that operate up to 750 hours per year, according to the company. Operators can also purchase turbine-engine coverage. The coverage is available through aircraft dealers and brokers.

Av-Guard covers all major aircraft components including avionics. Representatives of EPG Insurance, based in Memphis, Tenn., are on hand at the company’s booth (No. 4265) to discuss Av-Guard and other its other coverages.
