Wilson Air Center of Memphis, Tenn. has installed a new 32-inch, high-definition monitor interfaced with the WSI Pilotbrief Pro Weather System, a new flight decision support system that combines weather, airspace and flight plan information into a single integrated display. The large monitor is now integrated into Wilson’s “network of services” that includes a Pilot Business Center with three high-speed T-1 workstations, 17-inch flat-screen monitors and a wireless Internet connection throughout the facility. The fully network-capable weather system gives pilots access to the WSI weather system throughout the entire Wilson Air Center complex via its “weather network system.”
