PartsBase, an online marketplace for aviation parts, released its new government-research information tool at Heli-Expo 2010.
With more than 90 million line items of inventory, the Boca Raton, Fla.-based firm provides more than 5,000 companies with detailed information on the master cross-reference library, full procurement history of U.S. government contracts, technical characteristics, ML-C data and historical vendor-contract information.
PartsBase describes the new platform as a user-friendly tool, to transform static page views into a functional and filterable research tool that can rapidly manipulate government data.
The upgraded version of the product, said president and COO Brian Tolley, offers a comprehensive, single-source government research portal. “In effect, it takes traditional government market research and turns it on its head,” he added. “It’s not just about the data now, but what the data means to the bottom line of our customers.”
