ExecuJet’s chief executive officer Niall Olver, left, and CAE’s group president, civil simulation products, training and services Jeff Roberts seal a partnership deal here at EBACE. Canada’s CAE (Booth No. 1063) and the Emirates-CAE Flight Training (ECFT) joint venture have agreed to a three-year deal with Zurich-based ExecuJet for pilot and technical training covering more than 30 types of aircraft from Bombardier, Cessna, Dassault, Gulfstream and Hawker Beechcraft.
CAE has also signed a contract with Oxford-based Hangar8 (Booth No. 988)
to provide flight training on eight aircraft types. Training on Hawker Beechcraft aircraft will take place at ECFT’s Dubai facility, while all other training for Hangar8 will take place at CAE’s Burgess Hill facility near London, UK, and at CAE SimuFlite in Dallas, Texas. In addition to its base at London Oxford Airport (Booth No. 1359), Hangar8 has bases at Luton, Biggin Hill (Booth No. 953), Guernsey, Jersey, Nice, Krasnadar, Kiev, Dubai, Freetown and Moscow.
