StandardAero has added mobile service teams in Scottsdale, Ariz., and Dallas, Ga. Additional units are slated for northern Delaware, and a northeast-based avionics mobile team is scheduled to be launched by year-end, bringing the total number in North America to 12. Joe Brady, director, Mobile Service Team, StandardAero Business Aviation, told AIN the mobile service teams provide engine line maintenance support on the TFE731, CFE738, HTF7000, PW300 series, and 36-100 and 150 series APUs. “Our mobile operations are orchestrated through a centralized, 24-hour mobile operations center that supports both AOG events and planned maintenance,” Brady said. Services include line checks and periodic inspections, engine removal and replacements, DEEC software upgrades and downloads, troubleshooting, LRU removals and replacements, service bulletin compliance, MSP/JSSI enrollment inspections, TFE carbon seal replacement and hot-section repair, and other services as required. Vehicle teams are composed of at least one crew chief and one technician. All are certified A&Ps with delegated inspector stamps. Each member is dedicated to mobile services in a specific region but can be dispatched anywhere in the world if needed.
