The European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) wants user input to help consolidate policy for flight-deck automation of complex aircraft developed by the EASA Internal Group on Personnel Training (IGPT).

The EASA automation policy will map crew-automation interaction issues, design and certification and training principles, and respective regulatory provisions to identify top issues and paths for improvement.

The EASA Cockpit Automation Survey is designed to gauge respondents’ impressions to the issues themselves, as well as the suggested solutions necessary to later develop an action plan. Link to survey.
