Premier Turbines (Booth No. 2053), an engine overhaul and component/accessory repair shop based in Neosho, Mo., recently launched a quick-turnaround service for component repairs and specialized processes. The new service, named the Bullet Shop, guarantees return of parts within 10 working days of the date of receipt.
“Sometimes customers don’t have the luxury of waiting 30 days to get an engine part back,” said Jim Robertson, Premier Turbines v-p and general manager. “This new streamlined system, which expedites parts through the repair process, was implemented at the request of our existing customers to help them with urgent repair needs. It has been so well received that we decided to make this service available to anyone.”
In business for more than 26 years, Premier Turbines is factory authorized to provide overhaul and/or component repair on various models of Honeywell, Pratt & Whitney, General Electric and Rolls-Royce engines. Premier invested in computer numerical control (CNC) grinding, robotic plasma spray, computer airflow and plating enhancement equipment to enable quick turnaround on these processes. The company has also dedicated several technicians, expeditors and customer service representatives to the Bullet Shop effort to ensure turn times while keeping high-quality standards. Flat-rate pricing has been established for many repairs. Processes available for quick turnaround by the Bullet Shop include chrome and nickel plating, sermetel and nubelon coating, plasma spray, machining, balancing and welding.
Premier Turbines has also increased its rotable/exchange pool of components for GE CJ610/CF700, Honeywell TFE731 and Rolls-Royce Model 250 customers.
