Innotech Aviation of Canada has installed the first satellite TV system on a Bombardier Challenger 604. The Honeywell AIS-2000 OneView TV system will enable the European Challenger to receive the U.S. Hughes DirecTV and the European TPS broadcasts. The aircraft is also having other work done at the Innotech facility in Montreal.

The system includes a Honeywell antenna mounted on the tail and it will interface with the aircraft’s existing cabin entertainment system. According to Innotech v-p and general manager Rob Brooks, “We can offer the customer the option to install up to three dual-channel receiver modules, configured to meet the viewing requirements of the operator. This will provide independent selection possibilities for passengers to allow them to select their preferred TV channels.”

The Innotech-Execaire Aviation Group (Booth No. 4679) includes Innotech Aviation, Execaire, Air 500, Pacific Avionics & Instruments and Innotech Aviation Services.

Execaire has announced a new Web site,, designed “to improve the ease of corporate charter scheduling and booking,” according to the company. The service allows customers to plan, research and schedule charters online, and another advantage, the company said, is its 24-hour, 365-days-a-year availability.  The eCharters/Execaire fleet includes 23 jets, from the Cessna Citation to the Bombardier Challenger 604.
