Pending Repairs, KTEB's Runway 24 Temporarily Shortened
Due to EMAS damage, the airport has closed more than 1,000 feet of tarmac

New Jersey's Teterboro Airport has temporarily shortened the active takeoff length of its secondary Runway 6/24 pending repairs to the EMAS installation at the 24 end (right side of photo). The Port Authority of New York and New Jersey which manages the dedicated business aviation gateway is working with a contractor to determine the duration and cost of the project.
