Bombardier yesterday announced the sale of two Learjets here at EBACE to European Skytime of Gloucestershire in the UK. The Canadian manufacturer will deliver the Learjet 40XR and 45XR to Skytime within two years.

Hawker Beechcraft’s latest King Air, the model C90GTi, is joining its larger siblings with a new Rockwell Collins Pro Line 21 avionics suite. The C90GT previously was equipped with Rockwell Collins Pro Line II avionics.

Show exhibitors here at EBACE 2007 are expecting to break last year’s attendance records. Speaking at the EBACE press lunch on Monday, EBAA chief executive Brian Humphries hinted at  10,000-plus visitors, which would surpass last year’s total of 9,743 registered attendees.

On May 20, Peter Edwards, formerly president of Bombardier’s Business Aircraft Division, took over as group CEO at Jet Aviation, succeeding interim CEO Carl  Hirschmann. Edwards is now responsible for all of Jet Aviation’s global activities.

Grob Aerospace (Booth No. 1277) is showcasing a six-passenger fuselage mockup of the Grob SPn light business jet with a new cabin interior from the Porsche Design Studio. The mockup includes the aft lavatory configuration and the SPn cockpit, similarly created by Porsche Design.
