Fresh European Push on SAF
Airbus, Safran, Dassault, Onera, and the French Ministry of Transport launch study to evaluate burning 100 percent SAF.
German air ambulance service ADAC Luftrettung flew a mission in its Airbus H145 using a 40 percent blend of sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) sourced from cooking oil and produced at TotalEnergies’ Normandy refinery. Using this type of SAF, ADAC’s fleet could achieve a 33 percent reduction in CO2 emissions annually. (Photo: Theo Klein/Airbus Helicopters)
