ATR Eyes Year-end Launch of STOL 42 with 17 Commitments
The 17 ATR airliners were part of commitments for 75 valued at $1.7 billion announced during the Paris Air Show
Changes to brakes, rudder, and software (and possibly 10 fewer passengers) will be needed to reduce the ATR 42-600’s runway requirement from 1,050 meters to 800.
