Charter and management firm JFI Jets, which recently merged with West Palm Beach, Fla.-based ACP Jets, today rolled out a new identity for the combined entity: Alerion Aviation.
The merger of JFI Jets and ACP Jets brought together two well-established operations that collectively operated and managed 17 midsize, supermid and heavy jets. The merger also gave the newly named Alerion a presence in three of busiest business aviation markets in the U.S.: the New York metropolitan area, Southern California and South Florida. The creation of Alerion also brought together a number of seasoned industry executives, including CEO Bob Seidel, president David Rimmer and COO Suran Wijayawardana.
Alerion, which provides charter, management, hangar, maintenance and consulting services, launches with the highest Argus and Wyvern ratings, as well as IS-BAO Stage 2. “The sum of the best practices at both companies is now greater than the individual parts," Seidel said.
