Germany Opts for Manned Pegasus Platform
For the second time Germany has canceled plans to use a Global Hawk derivative to answer its Sigint requirements, and is now looking at the Global 6000.
Having decided that its Sigint requirements can be best met with a manned platform, Germany is keen on the Bombardier Global 6000. The type has already been selected for a number of special mission applications, including two Project Dolphin Sigint aircraft for the UAE.
