Metro To Test FAA Weather Cam in Michigan
Metro Aviation hopes weather camera will reduce number of canceled flights due to inaccurate weather reporting.
Metro, which is testing FAA weather cameras at its Ann Arbor base in an attempt to gather more accurate data, operates 30 to 45 flights each month out of Ann Arbor and cancels up to 15 percent of them due to inadequate or misleading weather reports, the company said.(Photo: Metro Aviation)
