CAE-Macmet announced contracts last Wednesday for four simulator systems for the Indian armed forces. Macmet Technologies, India’s leading simulator company, was purchased last year by Canada’s CAE.

CAE-Macmet has agreed to supply a fixed-base simulator for the MiG-21M fighter to the Indian Air Force at a base in Gujarat province. The simulator features a dome display with a 330- by 210-degree field of view, plus a fully representative MiG-21M cockpit.
