<p>Airliner maintenance group SR Technics (Stand CO1) has managed to bring the turnaround time for CFM56 engine overhaul down to 45 days. In January the first engine to be completed under its newly streamlined maintenance process was returned to German airline Hapag Lloyd Flug. <br>“The new maintenance offering will be a highly attractive option for operators to keep engine ground time to a minimum,” said André Wall, SR Technics COO. This reduces engine lease times and the number of spare engines that airlines require, said the company, which is owned by Abu Dhabi’s Mubadala group.&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;n</p>
