Maintenance News: CAMO Plus certification awarded to Jet Aviation
Jet Aviation’s aircraft management and charter division for Europe, the Middle East, Africa and Asia was awarded the EASA Continuing Airworthiness Manageme

Jet Aviation’s aircraft management and charter division for Europe, the Middle East, Africa and Asia was awarded the EASA Continuing Airworthiness Management Organization (CAMO) “Plus” certificate. The certificate will allow Jet Aviation to perform annual airworthiness reviews not only for its management clients, but for other private aircraft operators as well.

Effective September 28, all EU-registered commercial and private aircraft with a maximum takeoff weight above 12,566 pounds/5,700 kg must be managed by a CAMO and their certificates of airworthiness will need to be amended by a renewable airworthiness review certificate (ARC). An organization must have a CAMO “Plus” approval to issue or renew an ARC.
