Up to 600 new employees will be added at the U.S. facility for Legacy production.
The first Embraer Legacy to be assembled in the U.S.—a Model 450—started rolling down the production line at the company's newly expanded Melbourne, Florida facility on May 16. It held a ribbon-cutting ceremony to officially open the enlarged facility on June 2, with company officials, elected officials and hundreds of guests attending. (Photo: Chad Trautvetter/AIN)
