FAA and EASA-approved MRO provider Av8, which specializes in the overhaul and repair of Hawker landing gear, has achieved a three-week turn time for Hawker landing gear overhauls. The Houston-based company said it reached this milestone thanks to its extensive spare component inventory, as well as its in-house, FAA-approved cadmium plating and non-destructive testing (NDT) capabilities.
“We are pleased to be able to offer the fastest turnaround time for Hawker landing gear overhaul,” said company principal Yoel Arnoni. “Implementing cadmium plating and NDT capabilities in-house allow us to get you back in the air two to three weeks sooner than industry turn times.”
Av8 is also offering a limited-time special deal for Hawker landing gear removal and reinstallation at a fixed price of $10,000. The offer is valid only when the landing gear exchange or overhaul is purchased from participating MROs, including Duncan Aviation, Jet East, RBR and StandardAero. It includes labor to remove, reinstall, rig and test the landing gear, which must be purchased by the end of November and has to be exchanged or overhauled no later than the end of 2017.
