ANA Business Jet, a joint venture between Japan's ANA (All Nippon Airways) Holdings and Sojitz Corp., will begin operations on July 2, arranging charter flights connecting to scheduled ANA services. During the initial phase, connecting charter flights will be available at Chicago O’Hare International Airport (ORD) and Los Angeles International Airport (LAX). ANA has signed an agreement with Honda Aircraft to use HondaJets for the feeder services.
Led by CEO Jun Katagiri, ANA Business Jet will leverage ANA Holdings’ global network of 85 routes to 43 cities (a majority of which are in North America and Europe) and Sojitz’s experience with private jet travel.
“We are honored to provide passengers a new and enhanced travel experience,” said Katagiri. “By offering charter flights connecting to ANA scheduled services, travel time will be drastically shortened, providing our customers with convenience, comfort, and privacy.”
