AIN Publications is delighted to announce that Jerry Siebenmark is joining the AIN editorial team as associate editor, based in Wichita, Kansas.
Jerry brings 20 years of general business, commercial aviation and general aviation reporting experience to his new role. He has served as a reporter for the Wichita Eagle newspaper since 2006, and before that, he spent eight years covering the industry as a reporter for the Wichita Business Journal.
During that time he has covered a spectrum of aviation news involving manufacturers, airports, air carriers, accidents, labor, and research and development advancements. This has included NBAA’s annual conventions, the effects of the 9/11 terrorist attacks, and new airline entrants to the Wichita market, among other events. He was recognized in 2006 by the Society of American Business Editors and Writers with a Best in Business award for an article he co-authored entitled “Beechcraft is back.”
A graduate of Wichita State University with a Bachelor of Arts in communication with an emphasis on print journalism, Jerry has also worked as an emergency medical services technician and was a sergeant in the U.S. Air Force.
AIN welcomes Jerry to the editorial team and looks forward to adding his skills to AIN’s award-winning coverage of the aviation industry.
