<p>The FAA is proposing to amend and expand Order 8000.82 that designates information provided to the agency from the voluntary Aviation Safety Action Program (ASAP) as protected from public disclosure including disclosure under the Freedom of Information Act&nbsp;or other laws. The proposed designation applies to Part 145 repair stations, Part 121 air carriers, or other entities who have an FAA-accepted ASAP, and their covered employees. The intent of this action is to encourage participation in the ASAP. Comments must be received no later than March 14, 2022.</p>
