<p>The IRS is proposing regulations that provide guidance regarding the additional first year depreciation deduction for the acquisition of property. These proposed regulations provides for 100 percent bonus depreciation for qualified new and used aircraft acquired and placed into service&nbsp;after&nbsp;Sept. 27, 2017. The IRS also clarified that an aircraft is considered acquired when the taxpayer enters into a binding written contract. Comments are due by&nbsp;October 9.&nbsp;</p>
