<p>Transport Canada is proposing to&nbsp;require the mandatory installation of lightweight flight recording systems&nbsp;on certain&nbsp;commercial and private operators&nbsp;flying turbine-powered aircraft not&nbsp;currently required to carry&nbsp;flight data recorders (FDRs). Current rules required FDRs on Canadian certified multiengine, turbine-powered aircraft configured for more than 10 passengers and manufactured after Oct. 11, 1991. Comments on the proposal are due March 5, 2022.</p>
