<p>An EASA notice of proposed amendment aims to revise&nbsp;some of the existing—and introduce new—acceptable means of compliance&nbsp;with&nbsp;the rules and procedures for the operation of unmanned aerial systems (UAS). New proposals include defining the procedure to be applied by UAS operators and the national authorities for cross-border operations and introducing a syllabus for training modules for remote pilots that operate in the “specific” category. Comments on the proposed amendments are due Sept.&nbsp;15, 2021.</p>
