<p>The European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) has published proposed rules for the operation of vertical takeoff and landing (VTOL) air taxi aircraft in cities.&nbsp;The notice of proposed amendment (NPA)&nbsp;puts forward the establishment of a comprehensive regulatory framework to address&nbsp;general public concerns and the expectations of EU citizens with respect to VTOL safety, security, privacy, environment, and noise. Comments on the NPA are due Sept. 30, 2022.</p>
