<p>A new revision to the main document for flight operations over the North Atlantic has been published and the changes are effective starting on March 20, 2025. One of the significant updates is elimination of the so-called Bruce Spruce Routes—special routes established decades ago to help aircraft with limited navigation capabilities. They are being discontinued because few aircraft use them and there are no longer enough ground stations to reliably support them. The current Iceland-Greenland corridor is considered a reliable alternative for aircraft with navigation issues.</p>
