<p>The National Fire Prevention Association (NFPA)&nbsp;requires&nbsp;the installation of automatic shutdown systems on aviation fuel trucks and fuel farms&nbsp;in its revisions to Part 407 aircraft fuel servicing standards. The NFPA standards, typically adopted as requirements by regulatory agencies, would apply to in-service trucks and fuel farms, as well as for new equipment. In-service equipment would need to be retrofitted by June 2, 2021. The National Air Transportation&nbsp;Association has filed&nbsp;a&nbsp;tentative interim&nbsp;amendment (TIA) requesting&nbsp;the NFPA remove these&nbsp;revisions. Comments on the TIA are due March 17, 2021.</p>
