<p>The FAA&nbsp;is&nbsp;inviting&nbsp;comments&nbsp;on a planned update to&nbsp;AC 150/5020-1.&nbsp;This&nbsp;advisory circular provides airport sponsors&nbsp;with&nbsp;guidance on how to conduct an airport noise and land-use compatibility study&nbsp;under FAR Part 150.&nbsp;The regulation&nbsp;provides a structured process to evaluate the compatibility of property surrounding airports with aircraft&nbsp;noise and to develop mitigation measures.&nbsp;Participants in&nbsp;the&nbsp;Part 150 process may be eligible to apply for airport improvement&nbsp;funding to mitigate noise impacts.&nbsp;Comments are due by&nbsp;February 25, 2022.</p>
