A lifelong aviation enthusiast who joined&nbsp;AIN&nbsp;in 2007, Curt came to&nbsp;the publication&nbsp;from the broadcast industry where he was a national science and technology television reporter and producer. He writes on the FBO field, aviation finance, and sustainable aviation and occasionally contributes to&nbsp;AIN&nbsp;sister publication&nbsp;Business Jet Traveler. Curt was a member of the AINtv reporting staff that won the 2008 Aerospace Journalist of the Year award for Best Airshow Daily. That same year, he was a finalist for another AJOYA award. He earned an AJOYA for Best Business Aviation Submission in 2018 and was a finalist in that category in 2021. He received the National Air Transportation Association’s&nbsp; Aviation Journalist Award in 2012 and won a Pegasus Sapphire Business Aviation Award for outstanding journalism in 2021.
Before joining AIN, Curt worked with&nbsp;Consumer Reports’ television division, CRTV, and for several local television news staffs. An honors graduate of the State University of New York at Stony Brook, he earned a master’s degree in broadcast journalism from Boston University in 1995. Curt lives in New York State with his wife and two young sons.

Hong Kong Business Aviation Center has launched a transfer service that eases the way for passengers linking private flights with airline service.&nbsp;Dubbed HKBAC JetLink Service, it ensures seamless connectivity between business jets and airliners at Hong Kong International Airport (VHHH), providing private aircraft operators and passengers with a convenient and personalized transfer with enhanced privacy.
The sole FBO at VHHH, HKBAC was the first in Asia to introduce co-located customs, immigration, and quarantine services. With dedicated personnel accompanying the traveler through the entire transfer journey, it eliminates the need for them to face the complicated and time-consuming tasks of customs and immigration clearance, as well as collecting luggage in the airline terminal.
As an example, the company noted that through this offering, international passengers may choose to fly to Hong Kong via an airline and then transfer directly to a business jet for the leg to other cities in the region, thus opening up new connections.
“The HKBAC JetLink Service will, no doubt, facilitate Hong Kong’s attempt to attract international talents, business and leisure travelers, as well as new opportunities,” said Allen Fung, the company’s chairman. “It will also enhance HKIA’s competitiveness and our ability to leverage the Hong Kong double gateway advantage to connect with other cities in the mainland and the rest of the world.”
