The trading conglomerate was joined by other new investors including industrial real estate company Goodman Group, Italian airport and infrastructure funds 2i Aeroporti and F2i, and GreenPoint, a U.S.-based venture-capital firm.
The partners are among several advanced air mobility companies engaged with Japanese authorities with a view to launching eVTOL air taxi services in the country from 2025.
The advanced air mobility ground infrastructure group will use the facility in the heart of the UK capital to develop operating procedures and technologies for eVTOL vertiports.
