Sarah Rose (they/them) is a news writer and reporter for AIN. 
Prior to AIN, Sarah worked as a journalist for Georgia Public Broadcasting, Georgia&#039;s statewide NPR and PBS affiliate. They have also worked for several national nonprofits and as a legislative assistant in U.S. Congress. As an openly nonbinary reporter, they are a proud member of the Trans Journalists Association. 
Sarah is a 2012 graduate of Kennesaw State University.

Safran and Bombardier have signed a letter of intent to explore opportunities for collaboration and foster the joint development of innovative, high-performance, and reliable technologies for defense.
“Strengthening our longstanding partnership with Bombardier is a highly strategic move for both our groups,” said Safran CEO Olivier Andriès. “By combining our strengths, we’ll be well placed to accelerate innovation and deliver the advanced defense technologies of tomorrow.”
“This collaboration between Bombardier and Safran will foster the development of new solutions by leveraging our respective areas of expertise,” noted Bombardier president and CEO Éric Martel. “Bombardier and its more than 18,000 people stand ready to help our nations and others meet their evolving defense needs.”
The initiative aims to harness complementary technological expertise and enable the rapid industrial scale-up of new solutions. The announcement comes as the aerospace sector was highlighted as a strategic priority in a June 13 joint statement by French Prime Minister François Bayrou and Quebec Premier François Legault, reaffirming both governments' commitment to deeper economic ties.
